The Netherlands national team achieved a unique World Cup record after their victory against Sweden.

The Netherlands became the first team to score 100 goals but not have won the World Cup trophy.

They reached the 100-goal mark after a crushing 5-1 victory over Sweden.

This victory and the draw against Japan practically guarantee a place for the "Flying Dutchmen" in the World Cup knockout stage.

Goals were scored by Cody Gakpo and Brian Brobbey. Crysencio Summerville added one goal.
