"Manchester United” on Thursday once again defeated the Bilbao "Athletic” team in the UEFA Europa League semifinals and advanced to the tournament final.

After the victory, "Man Utd” coach Ruben Amorim acknowledged that the overall series result (7:1) does not reflect what happened on the field.

"The overall semifinal result does not reflect the fight that took place on the field in both matches. We have many weaknesses, and the opponents highlighted that once again,” said R. Amorim.

Nevertheless, the Portuguese coach hopes to present the team’s fans with a trophy that would at least partially redeem the team's tragic season.

"This trophy is the least we can do for the fans who have supported us throughout this difficult season. I already feel the pressure for the upcoming final. We are happy to be in the final,” said R. Amorim.
