Manchester City’s main rivals in the English Premier League are concerned about the outcome of the investigation.

According to The Telegraph, the Premier League giants that are Manchester City’s main rivals cannot see how the 114 alleged financial breaches could result in the Cityzens being punished this season.

The league itself is determined to punish the Manchester club before the end of the season, but there is considerable skepticism behind the scenes at the clubs.

It is also added that certain Premier League clubs are unsure "what they are playing for” while the situation remains so unclear and Manchester City are not being punished here and now.

After seven rounds, Manchester City lead the league with 21 points.
