M. Carrick: 'I have no doubt that we will overcome this difficult stage'

The "Manchester United" team, experiencing a complicated season start, will fight in the UEFA Champions League second match on Tuesday, where they will face Atlético Madrid away.

Before the match, "Man Utd" strategist Michael Carrick acknowledged that he hoped for more since the start of the season but did not dramatize the situation.

"It's clear that we expected more since the beginning of the season, but we are where we are. I knew there would come a moment when everything wouldn't go so smoothly. To create something, such moments are inevitable. We must overcome these challenges.

I understand that when things are not going as we want, there is a desire for quicker changes. I partly understand that, but I have a slightly different perspective.

Sometimes I enjoy being in difficult situations because then you can see who is truly with you. It allows you to understand who wants to be a long-term part of this project. I have no doubt that we will overcome this tough stage," Carrick said at the press conference.

Recently, there has been increasing talk that Carrick's position at "Man Utd" is in danger, but the strategist himself does not think so.

"Much depends on perspective. We know where we want to be and where we can be as a team.

We want to create something successful and do not let negativity in. There will be difficult moments, but to achieve something, we must overcome and endure those difficulties," added the "United" strategist.
