"Barcelona” club and England national team midfielder Anthony Gordon compared the quality of players from his country with that of their upcoming opponents, the Spaniards:

"In England, we do not have the quality that the Spaniards have. They are capable of controlling the game excellently.

That is not usual for us. I don’t even know if we could learn that.

Now I can speak to this having experience, as I play in Spain.

The way they control the ball is something exceptional.”

Anthony Gordon has played seven matches this season.

The Spanish national team has recently become European and World champions and Nations League runners-up.
