R. Lewandowski: 'I didn't want to continue my career in Europe because of FC Barcelona'

Former Barcelona club and new Chicago Fire forward Robert Lewandowski stated that he did not consider playing for another European team:

"My time at Barcelona has ended, and I could not imagine myself on another team in this continent.

My attachment to the Barça team is very strong.”

Robert Lewandowski signed a contract with the Chicago team until the summer of 2028.

The 37-year-old Pole played at Barcelona since the summer of 2022 and scored 120 goals in 193 matches.

In the last season, the forward scored 19 times in 46 matches.
