The new head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Xabi Alonso, was full of praise for the team’s newcomer Marco Palese and highlighted his qualities:

"I am very happy for M. Palese.

He is a player who gives you versatility in positions and can also play in a back four or five setup.

M. Palese sometimes played on the left side, is a physically strong player, and has a very good mentality.”

21-year-old Marco Palese has been part of Bergamo’s Atalanta team since 2023.

Last season, the defender was loaned to Cagliari and scored a goal in 37 matches.
