Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is already assigning roles to his future protégés.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the royal club's midfielder Federico Valverde received good news.

Following the brawls that took place in the Real locker room at the end of last season, rumors had spread about possible changes in the Uruguayan’s career.

However, according to the press, nothing of the sort will happen.

Mourinho personally reached out to Valverde and reassured him by saying that he sees the midfielder as one of the team's leaders.
