With Cristiano Ronaldo's first goal at the 2026 World Cup, a record was broken.

C. Ronaldo became the first player to score in six World Cups.

The 41-year-old forward made his mark early in the match against the Uzbekistan team.

Shortly thereafter, the Portuguese scored a second goal. At the penalty kick, the football legend left the ball for Nuno Mendes, who ruthlessly took down the opposing goalkeeper.

As an example, one of C. Ronaldo's main rivals, Lionel Messi, has only scored in five World Cups.
