The heads of TV stations broadcasting the World Championship are rubbing their hands with joy.

With FIFA deciding to make mandatory hydration breaks in every match of the championships, millions are pouring in from advertisers for broadcasters.

During each match, it is possible to sell an additional 4 minutes and 20 seconds of advertising, and it has already been calculated that, for example, the US television "FOX Sports" will additionally rake in 218 million euros.

In Lithuania, the championship is also being "efficiently" utilized for advertising breaks by the TV3 television.

Amid the greedy entrepreneurs, the English broadcasters stand out, who invite experts to share insights or simply watch the resting teams during hydration breaks.

It is predicted that this innovation will remain in the 2030 World Championship in Spain, Morocco, and Portugal.
