In court for multiple cases of assault against women, Thomas Partey will not play in the first match of the World Cup.
It is reported that Canada is sticking to its decision not to allow Ghana's midfielder to enter.
T. Partey simply did not receive a visa. Interestingly, when the documents were submitted, there was no mention of the player's criminal past, and the box was marked with the answer "No."
Ghana will play against Panama in their first match. The other two group stage matches will not take place in Canada.
