Real Madrid has a new coach.

The Athletic journalist David Ornstein confirmed that José Mourinho signed a contract with the royal club.

Last week, the 63-year-old Portuguese's signature was placed on a three-year contract with Real. He arrives after a stint at Benfica, where he was undefeated in Portugal last season, however, despite that, managed to finish only in 3rd place.

Officially, José Mourinho will be presented after the Real presidential elections, where the favorite remains Florentino Pérez.
