On Thursday evening, the Lithuanian national men's team will begin its appearance in the new UEFA Nations League cycle.

In the first match, Edgaras Jankauskas' pupils will meet the team of Liechtenstein away in the weakest – Division D.

The match will start at 21:45, and it will be broadcast live on LRT PLIUS and LRT.lt (broadcast link).

"We know what we have to do, we know how to break through their defense, where our keys to unlocking spaces might be, to create those spaces from which we could reach the goal.

We must not look at the rankings, the names of the teams, or the names of the opponents that we may not have heard of, and we must learn to play with focused tension,” said the national team's head coach Edgaras Jankauskas before the match.
