Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick commented on Lisandro Martinez’s remarks criticizing the club’s management.

"Lisandro Martinez understood his mistake... That is perfectly fine for all of us.

All that is needed is understanding, and we can say that this matter is closed. There is no drama.”

"Man United is bigger than any individual, so please don’t think about me every day.”

Following the defeat to Atlético Madrid, Lisandro Martinez publicly criticized the club’s management.

As a result, the Argentine was fined.
