The London "Arsenal" club has reached the Champions League final after a 20-year hiatus and defeated Madrid's "Atletico" with an overall score of 2:1.

After the match, head coach Mikel Arteta did not hide his joy at this achievement and praised the atmosphere at the "Emirates" stadium:

"This is an amazing evening. Experiencing such moments with our people, our players, everyone at the club - it's just an incredible feeling.

It's logical, because many of the things we do and experience, when you see so many happy faces and so many people proud of what we are doing."

"From the very beginning, it was incredible - the way the fans awaited us at the stadium, the energy, the passion they created, it was just wonderful to watch.

I think they set the standards, and we immediately tried to catch up to them.

It's so good to bring that joy back to them after so many years and to see that pride in the fans' eyes. It's all wonderful to witness.

Madrid's "Atletico" did not capitalize on the opportunity to clinch the "Copa del Rey" and the Champions League trophy.

Meanwhile, the "Arsenal" team is competing for the Champions League and the English Premier League titles.
