Kaunas Žalgiris futsal team retained Vinicius

"Kauno Žalgirio” futsal team extended the contract with the legionnaire who returned to the team last season. The team’s jersey will still be worn by Brazilian Vinicius Carvalho.

The football player, who returned to Kaunas last season, contributed to the team's results and together with the green and whites fought for the title of Lithuanian champions. Vinicius first wore the "Kauno Žalgirio” jersey in the 2023 – 2024 season, and after a year’s break, he returned to the team and became an important part of the championship-winning team.

"Last season in Kaunas left me with very good memories. I am happy to stay in the team and continue the work we started. Our goals remain the highest, so I can't wait to return to the pitch and strive for new victories,” said V. Carvalho.

"Kauno Žalgiris” continues to form the lineup for the new season, where they aim to defend the title of Lithuanian champions and perform successfully in the UEFA Futsal Champions League.
