In the return match, "Kaunas Žalgiris" lost again to Zagreb "Dinamo" – 1:2. Overall, the Croats were stronger with a score of 7:1.

The match started with an active attack from "Dinamo." Quickly, a chance was created for the team's forward Dion Dren Beljo. He failed to capitalize on his opportunity, but in the 19th minute, after a pass from the forward, Lukáš Kačavenda scored.

In the 30th minute, the guests doubled their lead with a goal from captain Mišić.

Leonas Krekovičius almost equalized the score with a free kick, but the ball hit the crossbar.

In the 32nd minute, Motiejus Burba provoked a red card for the opponents. The forward, rushing into a quick attack, collided with "Dinamo" goalkeeper Ivan Filipović, who was sent off the field.

After the red card, "Kaunas Žalgiris" looked significantly better than their opponents but only scored one goal. Gabriel Debeljuh, who stepped onto the field after a substitution, scored the only goal for his team in this series.

Now the Kaunas team drops into the Europa League qualifying round, where in the decisive stage they will meet the winner of the "Beşiktaş" – "Hradec Králové" pairing. In the first match, the Turks were stronger with a score of 1:0.
