With serious sanctions possibly looming, the "Manchester City" club on Sunday handled the "Liverpool" team with a 3:0 victory in the English Premier League.

After the match, "City" manager Enzo Maresca acknowledged that it was not easy for the players to ignore what is currently happening around the club.

"The past week has not been easy for the players, but I think they dealt with this challenge. I tried to emphasize how important it is for us to ignore everything that is happening off the pitch.

Due to this situation, various things are constantly being talked about us. Our job is to make noise with victories, as we did. At the end of the match, it was our fans singing, not the "Liverpool" supporters.

Winning at "Anfield" is a fantastic achievement. Such moments are very much needed for our organization," said E. Maresca.
