London's Arsenal Football Club has reached the Champions League final after a 20-year hiatus, defeating Atlético Madrid with an aggregate score of 2:1.
After the match, the "Gunners" defender Declan Rice did not hide his joy at this achievement and praised the atmosphere at Emirates Stadium:
"To be honest, I can't put it into words. I think this is the best night at Emirates Stadium that I've ever seen.
It was even better compared to last season's matches against Real Madrid."
"From the moment we arrived today, the buses stopped, and we thought, 'What's happening?'
Because normally we just drive straight into the stadium, and the next moment we see all the fans and how the players look at them.
It was just unbelievable."
Atlético Madrid missed the opportunity to fight for the Copa del Rey and the Champions League trophy.
Meanwhile, the Arsenal team is competing for the Champions League and the English Premier League titles.
