On Thursday, the UEFA Champions League draw took place in Monaco.

During a prestigious ceremony, the opponents of the "Sabah" team, coached by the Lithuanian Valdas Dambrauskas, were revealed.

The Azerbaijani team will compete against "Barcelona," London’s "Arsenal," "Man Utd," Dortmund's "Borussia," "Napoli," "Villarreal," Prague's "Slavia," and "Viking" clubs.

The defending champion PSG will battle against "Man City," "Barcelona," "Roma," Birmingham's "Aston Villa," Istanbul's "Galatasaray," "Villarreal," Bratislava's "Slovan," and "Como" teams.

The regular Champions League season will continue from September 8 to January 27.

The top eight teams will automatically qualify for the knockout stage. Teams finishing in 9th to 24th places will play two-legged playoffs, and the winners of these pairs will occupy the remaining eight spots in the knockout rounds.

Regular season schedule:

Round 1: September 8–10, 2026.

Round 2: October 13–14, 2026.

Round 3: October 20–21, 2026.

Round 4: November 3–4, 2026.

Round 5: November 24–25, 2026.

Round 6: December 8–9, 2026.

Round 7: January 19–20, 2027.

Round 8: January 27, 2027.

Playoffs:

The first matches – February 16–17, 2027.

The return matches – February 23–24, 2027.

The final season draw will determine the quarter-final pairs and the potential path for teams toward the trophy.

Quarter-finals: March 9–10 (first leg) and March 16–17 (return leg)

Semi-finals: April 27–28 (first leg) and May 4–5 (return leg)

Final: June 5, 2027, Saturday, in Madrid.
