Madrid's Atletico club will have a new left-back.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, this team will be joined by Bayer Leverkusen player Alejandro Grimaldo.

The Spaniard has already reached a verbal agreement with the Mattress Makers team.

The transfer fee could amount to 25 million euros, and the contract will last until the summer of 2029.

30-year-old Alejandro Grimaldo has been playing for Bayer Leverkusen since 2023 and has scored three goals in 145 matches.

In the last season, the left-back scored 14 times in 46 matches.
