In the Group K meeting, Portugal drew 1:1 with the Democratic Republic of Congo team.

In the FIFA ranking, the Portuguese are in 7th place, while the Africans are only in 43rd place.

The start of the match went perfectly for the Portuguese – already in the 6th minute, Joao Neves scored the first goal (1:0).
