Real Madrid has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois regarding the contract extension.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Belgian is set to remain at the Spanish capital club longer than stipulated in his current contract.

Currently, Courtois' contract with Real is valid until June 2027, but under the reached agreement, it is set to be extended for one more season – until June 2028.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper remains one of the key players for the Madrid team, having played a total of 342 matches in the team's ranks.

This season, he has appeared on the pitch 9 times.
