In the second round of the UEFA Champions League, the players of "Barcelona" fought for an impressive victory.

The Spanish champions recovered after a poor start to the match and defeated Istanbul "Galatasaray" 4:1 (1:1).

At the beginning of the meeting, the guests played more actively. The "Barcelona" team, coached by Hansi Flick, created dangerous chances, but the Turkish club's goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir saved his team several times.

Despite the Catalan pressure, the hosts were the first to score. After a pass from Rafael Leao, Alexey Batrakov shot from the edge of the penalty area, and the ball deflected off "Barcelona" defender Gerardo Martino and went into the net.

Soon, "Galatasaray" sent the ball into the opponent's net again, but this goal was disallowed for offside.

However, just before halftime, the guests managed to restore the balance. Dani Olmo intercepted the ball near the opponent's penalty area, and Joao Cancelo finished the attack with an accurate shot (1:1).

In the second half, "Barcelona" completely took control of the game. The Catalans increased the pace of the match and scored two goals in a short period of time, which essentially determined the outcome of the meeting.

Initially, the guests took the lead through Fermín López, and soon "Barcelona" extended their advantage with a goal from Anthony Gordon.

With a two-goal lead, the Spanish team continued to control the course of the match. The fourth goal finally secured the guests' victory – 4:1.
