The almost two-month-long drought of victories at the "Marseille" club has come to an end.

"Marseille" defeated "Troyes" 2:0 away.

The victory for the Marseille team in this match was determined by goals from Amine Harit and Himado Abdelli. The latter scored in the eighteenth minute of added time, with the situation resolved from the penalty spot.

Prior to this, "Marseille" had only won on August 20, when they managed to overcome the "Strasbourg" team in the first round. Since then, they had to change coaches, as they failed to achieve even a draw in matches, and now the team is led by Bruno Genesio.

"Marseille" is in 13th place in the "Ligue 1" standings, while "Troyes" is in 17th.
