Former star's shares plummet: 'AC Milan' asks for less for R. Leao

Rafael Leão, who just a couple of years ago was a complete star of Serie A and AC Milan, is expected to change his working environment in the near future.

Gazzetta newspaper reports that AC Milan is currently asking for just 40 million euros for the 27-year-old Portuguese forward.

The desire to work with the Portuguese was expressed by compatriot Ruben Amorim, who has become the new strategist for Rossoneri.

Earlier, AC Milan aimed to receive at least 60 million euros for R. Leão, but the market dictated a significantly diminished value for the forward.

Last season, R. Leão scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists. He has attracted interest from the Galatasaray team, which has yet to reach an agreement with the Milan club.
