The new Madrid Atletico club midfielder Morten Hjulmand did not hide his joy about moving to this team:

"It fulfilled my lifelong dream. I wanted to play only for the Atleti team.

It was an easy decision, and this team had a great last season.

27-year-old Morten Hjulmand had previously played for Sporting since 2023 and scored 10 goals in 142 matches.

Last season, the Dane scored three times in 46 matches.
