L. Kasčiūnas: a person with common sense would separate anger towards A. Tapinas from support for the team.

"The chairman of the "Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats” party Laurynas Kasčiūnas is known for his love of football.

According to the politician, some figures do not show enough respect for the president of the Vilnius "Žalgiris” team Andrius Tapinas.

"An interesting phenomenon: when Andrius Tapinas helped pull Vilnius "Žalgiris” out of the crisis, the whole company of various good-for-nothings from the so-called alternative media gleefully mocked and poured bile, sharing every "Žalgiris” failure, urging Tapinas to resign and rejoicing in the team’s losses.

It is hard to understand what kind of morally degraded person one must be to take pleasure in the failures of a team that has its own history, traditions, and fans, just out of hatred for one of the club's leaders.

A person of sound mind would distinguish anger and hatred towards an individual from supporting the team and its results,” - wrote L. Kasčiūnas on social media.
