The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reports that Tottenham has reached an agreement with Brighton for the acquisition of the 25-year-old center-back.
The value of the deal will reach £52 million without additional bonuses.
Jan Paul van Hecke had a year left on his contract with Brighton. His choice was to move to Tottenham, with which he managed to reach a personal agreement just last week.
Also, during this offseason, Tottenham has added Bournemouth defender Marco Senesi to the team.
