J. Carragher on R. Gravenberch's red card: 'It's a very poor decision from the referee's side' © PA

"Liverpool” club legend and football expert Jamie Carragher was outraged by the fact of Ryan Gravenberch's sending off during the "Liverpool” and "Manchester City” match.

The sending off potentially cost the "Reds” points, as the score was tied at that moment.

After receiving two yellow cards, the Netherlands midfielder left the field, and the "Citizens” then scored 3 goals and celebrated a 3:0 victory at the "Anfield” fortress.

J. Carragher did not spare criticism for the referee.

"It’s a very poor decision from the referee's side. The referee didn’t seem like he was going to give that card, and that annoys me the most.

He only pulled out the card when he saw Anderson injured. That shouldn’t be connected to whether you think of giving a card or not,” said J. Carragher.
