London attacker Bobby Zamora will not be able to play for at least four months due to a broken leg.
The 29-year-old footballer was injured in an English championship match against Wolverhampton when he collided with Karl Henry.
Just a few days ago Zamora, who made his debut for the England national team in August, signed a new four-year contract with Fulham.
"It's a shame that this happened, but I wouldn't want to blame Karl Henry," said Fulham manager Mark Hughes. "There is always a risk when trying to take the ball from the side or back, but I don't think there was anything intentional in this episode."
