Defender Nassimas Hnida will not represent the "Žalgiris" team next season - the valid contract with the player has been terminated by mutual agreement.

The 26-year-old legionnaire from Tunisia represented "Žalgiris" since February.

During the season he played a total of 32 matches and scored 3 goals.

The defender played 22 times in the national championship, 8 times in European tournaments, and also participated in the victorious Supercup matches.

The club thanks the player for his dedication on the field and wishes him success in the future.

It should be recalled that a few weeks ago N. Hnida caused a scandal when he decided to equate the attacks of Palestinian terrorists against Israel with Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression on social media. Fans demanded action from the club - they even created a petition, which was signed by 233 people.
