Vilnius "Žalgiris" has maintained an unpleasant tradition for fans.
It has been officially announced that the A league champions have once again charged for the broadcasts of the Champions League qualifying matches.
Reports indicate that internet users will have to pay 4–5 euros for the opportunity to watch home and away matches against the Maltese team.
In recent seasons, "Žalgiris" has been the only A league club that, unlike other Lithuanian teams, categorically refuses to show free European matches to its fans.
The Lithuanian champions will start their European campaign from the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, where they will meet the Maltese champions "Hamrun Spartans". The first match will take place on July 9 (Wednesday) at 7 PM, with the return match in Malta on July 15.
