Žalgiris announced the schedule for the upcoming months

The Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) has confirmed the preliminary schedule for the third round of the Lithuanian men's championship.

All teams in the "Topsport A League" have three second-round matches left to play in June. The second half of the championship and the third round will start in July.

"Žalgiris" will begin their journey in Europe in the Champions League tournament on July 8 or 9. The first opponent and exact dates will be determined after the draw on June 17.

Two match dates for "Žalgiris" are scheduled for the end of July. One of them will be confirmed based on which UEFA tournament "Žalgiris" participates in and on what day the matches will be played – Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday.

According to the LFF competition regulations, clubs participating in UEFA tournaments can also apply to the LFF for a postponement of up to 2 matches.

The schedule for the fourth round of the championship will depend on whether any Lithuanian team qualifies for the main stage of UEFA tournaments. In case of success, the championship finish is scheduled for November 30, otherwise – November 8.
