X. Alonso: 'I trust Rodrygo one hundred percent'

The head coach of the Madrid "Real" club, Xabi Alonso, commented on the future of midfielder Rodrygo and the talent of newcomer Franco Mastantuono:

"F. Mastantuono has a great left foot. He is a very good player and he can compete today.

The Argentine has quality, energy, he works well defensively, and he has an Argentine fighter's mentality. F. Mastantuono also has a great final pass. This player is at a very high level."

"There are a lot of rumors during the summer, but I have seen Rodrygo very well and I trust all the players.

I trust this Brazilian one hundred percent."

The 24-year-old Rodrygo has been playing for Madrid "Real" since 2019 and has scored 68 goals in 270 matches.

In the last season, the Brazilian scored 14 times in 54 matches.
