The arrival of a new coach at Madrid's "Real" club may determine changes in defender Raul Asencio's career.

As reported by "Defensa Central", the royal team's strategist Xabi Alonso is disappointed with the Spaniard's performances.

The specialist is uncertain whether R. Asencio will be able to adapt well to his tactical scheme, as the first warning bell rang during the World Club Cup tournament in the USA.

However, the 22-year-old player will not be sold for now – he may simply become a bench warmer.

R. Asencio can at least take comfort in the fact that he previously managed to sign a contract valid until mid-2031.
