The head coach of the Moroccan national team, Walid Regragui, commented on the presence of the team's leader Achraf Hakimi at the upcoming AFCON tournament and his confidence in this player:

"A. Hakimi will be with us at the Africa Cup of Nations both on and off the field.

If there is a player who could quickly return after an injury, it is A. Hakimi. I am confident of that.

We will only allow him to play when he is one hundred percent ready."

Achraf Hakimi is expected to miss six weeks due to injury.
