W. Estevao: 'God gave me the opportunity to always trust myself'

The new right-back of London’s Chelsea club, Willian Estevao, assured that he does not hide his self-confidence and did not think he would blend into this team so quickly:

"Have I always been confident in myself? Always, always. God gave me this opportunity because sometimes I don’t even know how I manage to do it.

I do it naturally... like a goal over myself in the Champions League match, I saw the ball and didn’t think about anything else. It was an instinctive moment, and I don't know how to explain it further.

Sometimes I get the ball in difficult situations, a shot over myself: these are things no one expects. I think it’s all natural."

"Many take time to adapt to Premier League football and struggle, but I got used to it quickly. So far, I don’t feel like I fully adapted yet, but it’s better than I expected."
