One of the biggest Dutch football clubs of the last decade, "Vitesse," is closing down.

It has been announced that the "Vitesse" club's appeal in court was unsuccessful, and they have lost their professional club license.

In 2017, the club won the Dutch Cup and then played in Europe for several seasons.

For a significant amount of time, "Vitesse" was inseparable from the "Chelsea" club. Since both clubs were owned by Russian oligarchs, at least a few "aristocrat" players always played in the Netherlands.
