Vinicius's breakout - a solid assessment

After the changes at the Madrid "Real" club, forward Vinicius is on cloud nine.

Following the dismissal of the hated coach Xabi Alonso, the Brazilian has once again blossomed on the pitch and this week helped the royal team to a crushing 6:1 victory over the "Monaco" club in the Champions League.

Vinicius contributed to the victory with a goal and two assists.

He also created seven scoring chances and won five personal duels.

It has been officially announced that such a performance has earned the Brazilian the title of UEFA Champions League Player of the Week.
