V. Struthas: 'I wanted F. Wirtz to move to the Real club'

"Liverpool" club midfielder Florian Wirtz silences all critics from the first part of the season.

The German's agent Volker Struth stated that before moving to the "Scousers," he wanted to see the footballer in the team of Madrid's "Real":

"When discussions were held about the possible transfer of F. Wirtz to "Liverpool" or "Bayern," I called Xabi Alonso.

I told him that the Spaniard should take this guy with him to Madrid."

"I also wrote to President Florentino Perez that I have a player here whom I highly recommend to you.

He could make every team in the world better."

Florian Wirtz moved to "Liverpool" last summer for £116 million and signed a five-year contract.

22-year-old F. Wirtz has scored 6 goals in 35 matches this season.

Prior to that, he played for Bayer Leverkusen since 2020 and scored 57 goals in 197 matches.
