The new London "Arsenal" club striker Viktor Gyokeres stated that the "Gunners" team was the only one he wanted to play for and that joining this team was challenging:
"Manchester United"? Many clubs tried to acquire me, yes... But I was only interested in the "Arsenal" team."
It was not an easy transfer. Most people talked about it in public all the time... They thought they were somehow protecting the interests of their team."
27-year-old Viktor Gyokeres had previously scored 97 goals in 102 matches for the Lisbon "Sporting" club.
