Sporting Lisbon club forward Viktoras Gyokeresas confirmed that he wants to compete in the English Premier League:

"I always think about victories and goals, and that changes everything. They say that the Portuguese league is weak... But I don’t care. People constantly say such things.

Premier League? I spent a few years here without the opportunity to play full matches. Therefore... Of course, it is the league I want to return to. It would be a good revenge for the past period.”

Viktoras Gyokeresas is close to moving to London’s Arsenal club.

The 27-year-old Swede scored 97 goals in 102 matches.
