The African Football Confederation made an unprecedented decision.

Three months after the very dramatic Africa Cup final, new winners have been announced.

The title has been stripped from the original champions Senegal. They have been recorded with a technical 0:3 loss against Morocco, who are the new African champions.

The reason for this decision was the Senegalese players exiting the locker room in the final minutes of regulation time when a penalty was awarded against them.

Too many Senegalese players left the field, so the referee could have declared Morocco the winners technically at that moment.

Returning players witnessed an inaccurate Brahimi Diaz 11-meter penalty, and during extra time, the victory was snatched by Gueye for Senegal.
