UEFA fine for Barcelona could quadruple

"Barcelona" team will not dispute the 15 million euro fine imposed by UEFA.

As reported by the Catalan press, the Continental organization penalized the "La Liga" champions for violations of the Financial Fair Play regulations.

UEFA found the explanations provided by "Barca" regarding their financial report unsatisfactory, and intensive discussions by President Joan Laporta with pro-Russian UEFA conductor Aleksandar Čeferin did not help the team.

Nevertheless, this is not all: the Catalans face further financial strain.

If "Barcelona" is unable to meet certain UEFA requirements over the next two years, the fine will quadruple to 60 million euros.
