In the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals, the Malian national team defeated Tunisia after a penalty shootout.

The regular time ended with a score of 1:1.

In the 26th minute, Malian player Woyo Coulibaly received a red card.

In the 88th minute, Firas Chaouat put the Tunisian team ahead.

In the 90+7 minute, Lassine'as Sinayoko converted a penalty for the Malian team.

In the penalty shootout, the Malian team triumphed with a score of 3:2, and the decisive penalty was scored by Gaoussou Diakite.

In the quarter-finals, Mali will play next Friday against the Senegalese national team.
