Tottenham's LGBTQ+ and women's groups stand against R. De Zerbi's appointment.

"Tottenham” is approaching an agreement with coach Roberto De Zerbi.

However, these plans are not liked by all club fans.

The Premier League fan group of LGBTQ+ supporters "Proud Lilywhites" released a public statement:

"The club sets standards that shape how people feel. The head coach plays a huge role here. When someone in such a position publicly defends a player like Mason Greenwood and downplays the seriousness of the crime, it deserves attention.

We do not demand perfection. We demand accountability, transparency, and leadership that reflect the values the club claims to uphold. Together, always. This has to mean something. We say ‘no’ to R. De Zerbi.”

The women’s group echoed: "R. De Zerbi publicly defended M. Greenwood and thus downplayed the seriousness of male violence against women and girls. This raises serious doubts about his decision-making and leadership qualities.”
