In the World Cup qualifying Group E match, the Spanish national team defeated Georgia at home with a score of 2:0.

The Lithuanian refereeing crew was in charge of this match: Manfredas Lukjančukas and his assistants Mangirdas Mirauskas and Vytenis Kazlauskas. The reserve referee was Donatas Rumšas, and VAR was operated by Donatas Šimėnas.

In the 24th minute, "la roja" took the lead through Yeremy Pino.

In the 29th minute, the home team's player Ferran Torres missed a penalty.

In the 64th minute, Mikel Oyarzabal doubled the score with a penalty kick.
