In the decisive Champions League season match, a German will officiate.

Today, UEFA announced that on May 30, the match between London's Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain at the "Pushkas" arena will be officiated by 42-year-old Daniel Siebert.

He will be assisted by two compatriots, Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn, as well as Swiss Sandro Scharer.

The VAR system will be operated by Germans Bastian Dankert, Robert Schroeder, and Spaniard Carlos Del Cerro Grande.

This season, D. Siebert officiated in nine Champions League matches, including Arsenal's quarterfinal away match against Sporting and the second semifinal match for the Gunners against Atletico Madrid.
