In honor of the late Diogo Jota, no player representing the "scousers" will be allowed to play in the number 20 jersey.

This was confirmed by the "Liverpool" club in their statement.

Diogo Jota played for the "Liverpool" club since 2020 and scored 65 goals in 182 matches.

In the last season, the Portuguese player scored 9 times in 37 matches.
